((Pardon me if I break any specific rules in the site canon, or if I have altered history of the site in order to write this. Also pardon the length, its used to introduce Karoc and explain how he would be able to reach Korriban, as well as explain why he choose the Sith))
Karoc was alone. Utterly alone in the universe. He looked around the desolated city before him, and saw the flames. He saw the bodies, and the wreckage, and the decay that eternally brewed upon Coruscant since its fall years ago. Yet still, the Force told him that life still bred in the city, and that was why he was there. To end those lives. So he had for the past years. A remnant of the Jedi, one who had not escaped the battered planet. And he loathed the other Jedi for it. None had returned to search for surviv It mattered not to him whether he found men, women, children, Jedi, New Republic soliders, Imperial Stormtroopers. All fell before his grip. And now something changed.
A dark presence had descended upon the city. Something that did not belong in the city, something that was neither Jedi nor Sith. Neither was it Republic or Imperial for that matter. A large creature had hunted Karoc for days now, and in the ruins of the city-planet, it was cornering him. All Karoc knew was that it was big, furry, and fast. Which only narrowed down the number of things it could be to about a trillion. At last it had trapped Karoc in a skyscraper, and.....
Karoc's eyes popped open, he popped out of his reprieve to hear a booming noise in the building. He turned to see the creature that had been hunting him. It was some form of twisted tarantula like creature. Something that was probably placed in an on planet zoo that was now in shambles. And it had found him. And judging by the wad of spittle that dripped from its pincers, it was quite hungry.
Karoc waited, not moving, wondering if the thing would thing he was a statue and leave. But no. The monstrosity had viewed him through its eyes, and seen the slight movement that accompanied his eyes opening and decided that it was dinner time. It charged forward only to be meet with instant pain that Karoc inflicted upon it by choking it through the force. A green lightsaber blade erupted from the hilt held in Karoc's left hand and the creature thrashed as it was deprived of much needed air. An interesting note about the blade was that occasionally it had a reddish tinge about it to go with the green. The crystal was being influenced by Karoc's hatred of his situation but Karoc didn't notice.
As Karoc advanced upon the devilish thing, it spat a wad of webbing at him and Karoc screamed in anguish. It had covered his right hand, the hand used to make the choking Force grip that had stopped the spider. It launched it self at Karoc and was speared upon the end of the blade. However, the creature had undoubtably fought with sabers before for the blade only made a gash in the creature instead of impaling it. The creature slowly spun a web around Karoc who thrashed the entire time. "NO," Karoc said furiously," NO. It will not end like this. I will not allow it!" At these words, Karoc's fury was unlocked and he used the Force to push everything around him away. Including webbing and spider. The spider slammed against the wall and Karoc hurled his blade at the dazed creature's head and used the Force to push it into the spider. It let out a shriek and then curled over, dead. He walked up to the thing, pulled his lightsaber out with his hand, and then force pushed the thing out of the building and down towards the street below. Exhausted, Karoc looked around. He noticed a small glint across the street, something he hadn't noticed before. He hurriedly left the building, and went across to the glint. It was a ship. It had enough fuel in it to make a hyperspace jump somewhere so that Karoc could find a spaceport, fuel up and reconnect with the Jedi... No. Karoc decided menatlly The Jedi abandoned me, and this city. They never looked for any more survivors. They left these people to die. Most of them are dead now, no longer miserable due to the Order's actions. Why not? Its a fitting end for these people. The Sith were right I think. I think its time to join them, to fulfill my potential. As Karoc lifted off the planet and prepared to jump, a thought occured to him. When he had pulled the blade out of the spider's head it had been blood red. He ignited it once more and noticed the same color. It was only fitting that he should join the organization with whom this color blade was most associated with then. He hit the button and jumped off towards a new destiny.
